Words have 4 major forms:

•        Adverbs
Verbs

Nouns

Nouns can be countable or uncountable.  They often come after the verb "have" or after articles (a, an, the)

  • The boy is tall.

Often, the endings show the type of word.  These endings are called suffixes.
